The winner was announced by Mr Akeem Bello Osagie ( Chairman Etisalat, Nigeria) and Mr Evans ( CEO Etisalat, Nigeria). Mercy Chinwo emerge the winner of Nigeria Idol season 2, she beat Joe blue to the cheque of 7.5 million Naira, brand new toyota suv and a record deal.

Mercy you are a performer.Please i want to advice that you live your life for God the giver of voice and talent.You are very young with a great future,don't allow the fame God is bringing your way this early to distract you cos it's a privileged not a right.
Be modest in everything you do, be focused and morally very disciplined. Do not allow destiny hunters and destroyers lure you into things that will make God angry with you.
